Memory foam has become increasingly popular, due to its incredible support properties. Memory foam is temperature and pressure sensitive and moulds to the shape of your body, ensuring that your spine is kept straight for a comfortable and healthy sleep. In our Airflow Reacta composition we have included an additional layer of our rubberised coir fibre as a base layer, to give the mattress even more spring and crucial ventilation. We use a high quality 80kg/m3 density memory foam, designed for long lasting service and excellent support. The rubberised organic coir pad gives these mattresses their spring and its inherent ventilation. We then finish the mattress in a layer of cotton and wool blended loft. We laminate these materials together in different ways to make different finished thicknesses.
Our Airflow Lightweight is designed specifically for boats where weight is a key issue, and we can achieve weights as low as 5.5kgs per square metre For any mattress that is larger than a single you may want to consider splitting the mattress in 2, to make it easier to get the mattress on board and into your cabin. We have a great linking zip system for joining 2 halves together. We usually split in 2 from head to toe down the middle, but we can split a mattress wherever you would like.
Recommended for: This mattress is great for people who suffer from back problems as the pressure sensitive foam provides very superior support. Ideal for VIP/larger berths as well as more restricted crew berths. The composition can be covered in your own fabric if you prefer - call us to discuss your requirements.
